Procurement Category Leader

As a key member of the procurement team, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives for commodities managed.


You will be responsible for fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective management of procurement categories.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive implementation of strategies for commodities managed.
  • Manage tenders for the assigned categories to negotiate pricing and terms to achieve business objectives.
  • Understand business requirements and influence internal stakeholders to drive productivity improvements and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant business policies and procedures.
  • Create preferred supplier lists for managed categories based on spend, relationship tenure, and pricing trends.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to inform key strategies and decisions for the category group.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify supply base risks and opportunities.
  • Recommend market-based solutions to mitigate supply chain risks and optimize procurement processes.
  • Identify alternative suppliers aligned with group procurement strategy and develop contingency plans.
  • Ensure suppliers adhere to Coca-Cola sustainability targets and are SGP approved where applicable.
