Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and skilled procurement professional to oversee the development of our procurement strategies, monitor market trends and suppliers, and implement industry best practices to optimize procurement efficiency.

  • Develop comprehensive procurement strategies in line with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier performance improvement.
  • Establish inventory management policies and systems to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent shortages and overstocking, and ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide timely and effective procurement support.
  • Design and implement procurement frameworks, compliance standards, and governance policies to ensure a transparent and accountable procurement process.
  • Champion digital procurement tools and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and improve procurement outcomes.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance metrics.
  • Streamline procurement processes to enhance transparency, efficiency, and vendor diversity.
  • Mentor and lead the procurement team to achieve exceptional results, foster a high-performance culture, and drive long-term value delivery.
  • Oversee large-scale purchasing decisions, mitigate supply chain risks, and develop strategic partnerships with vendors.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management protocols for supplier agreements and contracts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record as a procurement manager or head of procurement with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and supplier management tools with experience in sourcing techniques and market dynamics.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in procurement with a minimum of 3 years in the construction industry.
  • Mid-senior level professional with a strong leadership background and ability to guide and develop teams.
