Job DescriptionDirector Commercial Excellence Role:
- This role will lead commercial business initiatives in sales support, business policy, processes and practices designed to increase sales productivity and drive efficiencies to support affiliate revenue growth.
- The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day activities of the sales team to ensure effective support and efficient processing of sales transactions.
- They will develop strategies to enhance sales effectiveness and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide regular reports on commercial performance.
- This position also involves leading field services and sales training teams, as well as commercial compliance initiatives.
Sales Force Effectiveness, Automation and Engagement:
- The Director Commercial Excellence will drive sales force effectiveness by identifying and recommending initiatives to improve the efficiency of the function.
- They will lead implementation of approved initiatives and collaborate with regional commercial teams to share commercially based best practices.
- Additionally, they will lead targeting strategy and implementation, analyze overall historical sales trends for key product groups, and provide metrics and processes to identify team shortfalls.
- Reports and tracks performance against plan for all aspects of the sales group across various key performance metrics.
Affiliate Commercial EHS:
- The Director Commercial Excellence will lead commercial EHS initiatives for all divisions of the affiliate.
- They will provide overall vision and direction for Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health functions for commercial employees through establishment of sound policies and strategies.
- Develop strategic goals and objectives to support continuous improvement in EHS and establish communication strategies and channels to deploy EHS best practices company-wide.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters degree and/or complementing business related degree would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15-18 years of experience in sales, marketing and/or Commercial Excellence roles, with past at least 5 years at a senior/leadership role.
- Insight into internal and external customers.
