Area Business Development Manager Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Pursue business opportunities and drive growth in the assigned region, through effective sales strategies and partnership building

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business growth plans, leveraging their expertise in sales management and market development.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement sales campaigns to increase revenue and expand the customer base
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with business objectives and ensure seamless delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Area Business Development Manager or similar senior sales role, with a strong track record of success
  • MBA or equivalent degree in a relevant field, with expertise in sales management, marketing, and business development

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong partnerships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in sales analytics and market research
  • A proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
