Job Title: Product Support Specialist

The role of a Product Support Specialist is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and satisfaction of customers using our Insignia Library System (ILS).

To achieve this goal, the successful candidate will provide expert technical support and training to clients across various sectors including K-12 school districts, public libraries, academic and special libraries.

  1. Provide phone and email support to troubleshoot user queries efficiently.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to make product enhancement recommendations that drive business growth.
  3. Deliver high-quality training sessions online or in person to equip customers with necessary skills.
  4. Maintain quality control/bug testing of new releases to guarantee seamless functionality.
  5. Update knowledgebase cases and release notes accurately and on time.
  6. Revise the user manual regularly to reflect changes in the product.
  7. Collaborate with the development team through research and documentation to enhance product features.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Hold an IT, Computer Science, Library Science, or related degree. Equivalent experience or diploma will be considered.
  2. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  3. Possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrate exceptional writing and typing skills to produce clear and concise documents.
  5. Showcase expertise in solving complex technical problems and implementing effective solutions.
