Our organization seeks a seasoned professional to fill the position of Backend Engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of home services as a skilled technical expert in our Engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement customer-to-supplier dispatching algorithms
  • Develop real-time order tracking features
  • Optimize APIs for 3rd party integrations
  • Model and design databases for efficient data management
  • Implement attribute management systems for improved flexibility
  • Enhance availability and assignment algorithms for seamless operations
  • Develop E2E API tests for thorough quality assurance
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language
  • Experience with MVC frameworks like Spring Boot
  • High comfort level with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
  • Proficiency in ORM frameworks like Hibernate
  • Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ) and cache storage (Redis)
  • Solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful services
  • Good grasp of SOLID principles
  • Strong object-oriented programming and design pattern skills
  • Comfortable with Git version control system
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Willingness to work with PHP 7 (Symfony and Doctrine)
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rota
  • Experience in performing unit and integration tests for reliable backend services
