Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team.

This role involves overseeing the management of code releases, bridging the gap between development and operations teams, and ensuring seamless integration of existing networks.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Establishing and enhancing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes to streamline software delivery and improve overall efficiency.
  • Configuring products to meet functional requirements, including setting up integration interfaces, web services, and transport protocols.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues affecting infrastructure and system operations, with minimal downtime and maximum availability.
  • Ensuring high availability of our products and platforms 24/7/365, including messaging, voice, and email gateways.
  • Automating day-to-day operations using scripts in various environments to reduce manual intervention and enhance scalability.
  • Maintaining server configurations, monitoring jobs, and infrastructure documentation across cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
  • Collaborating extensively with offshore teams and network partners on a daily basis to drive business outcomes.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of recent technical experience in Professional Services or Enterprise DevOps roles.
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management (Ansible), programming languages (Python), logging systems (Elastic Stack), CI/CD tools (DroneCI, Argo CD), and network protocols and standards.
  • A strong sense of ownership, critical thinking, and ability to drive DevOps mindset initiatives across teams for agile release trains.
  • An analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and accountability for results.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other IT-related fields.
  • The ability to work closely with offshore teams daily.
  • Fluency in English with excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
