Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Ruby on Rails Developer.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Ruby language and OOP principles, with experience working on large-scale applications.

This position offers an opportunity to work on complex projects, develop new skills, and collaborate with a talented team.

As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient code, as well as integrating front-end elements with server-side logic.

Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and Git version control systems is essential.

You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build scalable and secure features using Ruby on Rails.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Optimize application performance and address bugs and bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of Ruby language and OOP principles.
  • Experience with RSpec or similar testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Understanding of MVC, ORM, RESTful APIs, and design patterns.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
