Job Description:

This role is focused on managing various aspects of tax and accounting for the organization, ensuring timely submission of financial results. The individual will support month-end close processes, provide required data to consultants, maintain inventory records, and file regulatory returns.

  • Assist in monthly accounting close and reconciliation process, adhering to published calendars.
  • Prepare account reconciliations as part of the close process, including related journal entries.
  • Collaborate with advisors to prepare annual income tax returns and advance income tax filings.
  • Work with advisors to prepare periodic withholding tax statements and sales tax returns for federal and provincial authorities.
  • Assist advisors in filing statutory forms and documents with regulatory bodies.
  • Review import taxes and duties, including exemptions for sold inventory.
  • Prepare stock reports and reconcile physical stock takes.
  • Process project stock orders received from customers.
  • Maintain a fixed asset register.
  • Track withholding tax challans from customers and reconcile ledger balances.
  • Support project managers in creating and managing forecasts and budgets.
  • Oversight of cash flow, financial reporting, revenue, and expenses for Pakistan projects.
  • Establish internal controls and project governance for those projects.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to keep projects within budget and time.
