As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for overseeing project activities in schools and providing guidance to community teams using Right To Play tools.

About the Project

We are seeking an experienced coordinator to implement project initiatives in educational settings and collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of focus.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with proposals and monitoring their quality and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify specific sectors and industries for focus areas.
  • Support teachers and coaches in creating activity schedules and plans, ensuring consistency with project objectives.
  • Organize events, workshops, trainings, play days, awareness sessions, summer camps, recreational days, and sports tournaments in coordination with partners.
  • Evaluate events and report on progress and challenges to the Project Officer.
  • Manage logistical arrangements for training, workshops, and events.
  • Assess training needs of coaches, teachers, and partners, recommending suitable interventions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in social sciences, education, or a related field.
  • Experience working in project implementation and coordination, including team leadership.
  • Experience in girls' empowerment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong development and team building skills.
  • Understanding of education principles and teaching.
  • Computer literacy in outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet.
  • Understanding of a community-led process.
  • Experience working with children.
