Job Title:

Drive Research and Product Development Expertise

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Spearhead new initiatives to develop high-quality drug products and substances through integrated research and manufacturing processes.
  2. Establish a profound understanding of product science and process optimization.
  3. Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative formulae for product development.
  4. Prepare laboratory-scale batches for technical evaluation and accelerated stability studies.
  5. Submit samples for business development group evaluation and acceptance.
  6. Arrange raw materials and packaging for pilot-scale batches.
  7. Identify and prepare feasibility reports for manufacturing facilities and equipment required for new product manufacture.
  8. Conduct three pilot-scale batches and place on stability studies as per zone requirements.
  9. Support procurement for new source development for new products.
  10. Lead technology transfers and other supportive activities between development centers, sites, and external suppliers.
  11. Support cGMP product inspections by regulatory authorities and corporate.
  12. Support new product registration with MoH and export regulatory submissions.
Analytical Technology:
  1. Develop and improve analytical methods for raw materials used in new products.
  2. Research and develop stability-indicating analytical methods for new products.
  3. Validate and verify analytical methods for raw materials and new products.
  4. Implement process analytical technologies (PAT) to achieve real-time release.
  5. Conduct validation on commercial-scale batches and real-time stability studies.
  6. Support artwork development of packaging components.
  7. Provide clear analytical investigations of product counterfeiting/customer complaint/contamination events.
  8. Support bioequivalence/bio-availability studies of new products.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a team player & motivator, have a mature and realistic approach towards job-related assignments, decision-making skills, diligence, proactivity, foresight, multicultural work experience, project management expertise, knowledge of stability programs and shelf life determination processes, strong relationships with policy makers, government, and industry bodies, good written and oral communications skills in English and Urdu, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to excellence.
