Job Title: Product Development and Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development and Marketing Specialist to oversee product development and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development and marketing, as well as excellent project management skills.

The Product Development and Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining competitive product/market comparisons, researching product ideas, market opportunities, and trends to develop new products, features, and benefits.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain competitive product/market comparisons.
  • Research product ideas, market opportunities, and trends to develop new products, features, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with clients and prospects to gauge market conditions and understand customer needs.
  • Determine product launch marketing goals and strategy.
  • Align with other marketing resources to supplement existing marketing plans.
  • Evaluate strategic positioning of products.
  • Create/updating product descriptions for proposals, presentations, and brochures.
  • Act as liaison with Client Management team for effective product launches.
  • Segment planning and current product enhancement projects based on sales analysis.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Business or a related field.
  • Experience in Retail, Distributor, IT, and Security & Surveillance industries.
  • A background in product development and marketing or strategic planning.
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • A solid project management foundation and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
