Financial Operations Specialist

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. As a Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in managing the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the company.
You will prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, you will monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Your responsibilities will also include preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, providing valuable insights to aid in decision-making. You will handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment verification, and collections.
As a key member of the finance team, you will support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial and accounting operations
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Support internal and external audits
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a CA-Inter with Articleship completed or ACCA Finalist certification. Proven experience of 4-5 years in finance and accounts is essential, as is a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
You should be proficient in financial software and tools, including QuickBooks, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required to collaborate with various teams.
Please note that only candidates willing to work in a night shift environment will be considered for this role.
