ERP Development Specialist

Sanaullah & Co. is expanding its horizons into IT solutions with the launch of a new venture focused on ERP and business transformation.

As part of this strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking ERP Junior Developer to play a key role in shaping our ERP development, implementation and consulting services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of ERP/Accounting software modules such as accounting, inventory, payroll, CRM, and reporting.
  • Support the team in designing and implementing scalable, modular, and user-friendly features.
  • Participate in defining technical solutions under the guidance of senior developers or team leads.
Technical Leadership

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading teams, collaborating with cross-functional groups, and driving innovation in ERP systems.

They will work closely with fellow developers, QA, and product teams to ensure timely delivery of modules and participate in sprint planning.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining key functionalities, ensuring responsiveness across platforms, and applying feedback from peers and mentors.

Domain Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and ERP concepts like General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, and Inventory.
  • Familiarity with popular accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar platforms is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks.
Qualification
  • At least bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar field preferred from HEC Approved University.
  • Finance/Accounting certification will be a bonus.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Sound expertise in database design and management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and DevOps tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of ERP/Accounting standards and frameworks (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Basic understanding of core accounting processes and ERP functionalities such as AR/AP, GL, payroll, inventory, and CRM.
  • Familiarity with existing ERP and accounting systems.
  • Strong collaboration and learning mindset to work under the direction of senior developers and consultants on large-scale implementations.
  • Ability to adapt in agile environments, with basic understanding of sprint cycles, task prioritization, and team communication tools.
  • Interest in modular software design, especially microservices architecture, and eagerness to learn through hands-on project work.
  • Interest in AI/ML applications in accounting (e.g., automation, analytics), even if not yet applied in professional settings.
  • Awareness of localization and multi-currency features in global ERP systems, with openness to explore and understand their technical implications.
Experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as ERP Developer, Software Developer, Full Stack Engineer, Technical Consultant, or UI/UX.
