Real Estate and Facility Operations Manager

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate and Facility Operations Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing our real estate, facilities, and asset maintenance portfolio across multiple locations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing building and facilities maintenance, asset management, and audits of 3rd-party maintenance contracts. They will also manage the launch, relocation, and closure of dark stores, including site scouting, execution, and handover.

Additionally, this role involves supervising contractors on budgets, specialties, and project execution; conducting site visits to ensure quality and timeliness. The candidate will handle and maintain permits, licenses, and municipal approvals in the system; ensuring compliance with zoning, safety, and environmental regulations.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's Degree, Business/Commerce would be preferred and 3-5 years of experience in real estate and facility management.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage real estate, facilities, asset maintenance, issue management, and performance KPIs
  • Oversee building and facilities maintenance, asset management, and audits of 3rd-party maintenance contracts
  • Manage the launch, relocation, and closure of dark stores, including site scouting, execution, and handover

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate and facility management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
