Compliance and HR Officer

">Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Compliance and HR Officer to manage the end-to-end vetting and compliance process for security personnel deployed for UK contracts.

The ideal candidate will ensure strict adherence to British Standard BS 7858, Security Industry Authority (SIA) regulations, ISO 9001 quality management standards, and other relevant UK provisions.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire vetting process for all new hires in accordance with BS 7858:2019.
  • Conduct thorough right-to-work checks, obtain and validate employment history, manage criminal record checks, and secure character references.
  • Ensure all security staff meet specific licensing requirements set by the SIA and maintain accurate and auditable vetting files.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Document and follow established procedures to ensure consistent service delivery and participate in internal audits.
  • Manage pre-employment onboarding, maintain employee records, prepare compliance-related documentation, and liaise with UK-based teams.
  • Utilize MS Office Suite to create trackers, databases, and reports for vetting and compliance activities.
">Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR, Compliance, or Audit role, preferably within a security, outsourcing, or highly regulated industry.
  • Experience working with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with UK employment law and SIA regulations is a significant advantage.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word are mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for liaising with UK-based teams and preparing formal documentation.
  • Exceptional accuracy, analytical mindset, zero-tolerance approach to errors, and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • Superior organisational and time-management skills, ability to prioritise a high-volume workload, and proactive attitude.
