Senior AI Project Lead

We are seeking a seasoned AI Technical Project Manager to lead the technical direction of our AI projects, ensuring the successful delivery of complex technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with hands-on experience in software development and a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies. They will be responsible for guiding the technical implementation of AI projects, managing technical resources, and driving solutions that meet the business needs of our clients.

The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The candidate should also have a proven track record of successful technical leadership in delivering complex technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the AI project lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for cross-functional teams.
• Develop technical project plans, including resource allocation, technical dependencies, and risk assessments.
• Evaluate technical feasibility of proposed AI solutions and provide recommendations on architecture, technology stack, and implementation approaches.
• Work closely with ML/NLP engineers and data engineers to ensure proper technical implementation of AI models and systems.
• Identify potential technical challenges and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Establish technical standards, best practices, and methodologies for AI projects.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Monitor project progress from a technical perspective, addressing bottlenecks and technical debt.
• Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts and limitations effectively.

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development or engineering roles, with at least 2 years of experience leading AI/ML projects in a technical capacity.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, particularly in AI-related technologies.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and their practical business applications.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and embedding models for AI applications.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to AI implementation (Python preferred).
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data requirements for AI projects and experience collaborating with data engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successful technical leadership in delivering complex technology projects.
