Job Overview

The Senior Financial Controller will lead the financial team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and prior experience in the BPO sector to support global operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
  • Oversee tax filings, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Strategic Finance Support: Provide financial insights to senior management for decision-making.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting exercises.
  • Recommend strategies for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Team & Process Management: Mentor and guide junior accountants to ensure high-quality output.
  • Establish and improve accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients and ensure adherence to international accounting practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • ACA (with 5+ years' relevant experience in BPO) OR FCA (10+ years' relevant experience in BPO).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and corporate taxation.
  • Experience managing teams and leading audits.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Work Arrangement:
  • Onsite role in Karachi.
  • Working hours: 9 am to 5 pm (Pakistan Standard Time), Sunday to Friday.
  • Reports directly to the CFO / Senior Finance Leader.
Requirements:
  • Senior Financial Controller : 5 years (Required)
  • BPO : 5 years (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and corporate taxation: 3 years (Required)
