We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for language, literature, and lifelong learning, as well as excellent communication skills.

Job Description

The English Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in English language and/or literature, fostering students' communication skills, critical thinking, and love for reading and writing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning & Delivery: Prepare and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with curriculum requirements, incorporating diverse teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learning styles and levels.
  • Student Assessment: Design and administer quizzes, tests, projects, and other assessments, providing constructive feedback to help students improve.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, respectful, and orderly classroom environment, encouraging active participation and collaboration among students.
  • Curriculum & Materials: Select and adapt textbooks, digital tools, and supplementary resources, integrating literature, writing exercises, and speaking activities.
  • Professional Collaboration: Work with colleagues to develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and school events, attending staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Student Support: Identify and support students with learning difficulties or special educational needs, motivating students to achieve their personal and academic goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred for higher-level teaching).
  • Teaching certification/licensure as required by the institution.
  • An excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to integrate technology into teaching.
  • A passion for language, literature, and lifelong learning.
