Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Laundry Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our laundry facilities. This is a mid-senior level management position in our hospitality department.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of laundry staff, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and maintaining operational excellence throughout the department.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and organizational skills, with a strong understanding of laundry processes and operations. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

  • Manage a team of laundry staff, including conducting daily briefings and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the operation of laundry facilities, ensuring that all equipment is maintained in good working order and that all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and control costs, maintaining accurate records and reports as required.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience in laundry operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Hospitality/luxury hotel experience highly desirable.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities
    • Good understanding of laundry processes and operations
    • Ability to operate and troubleshoot laundry machinery and equipment
    • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
    • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, PMS/Laundry software)
