We are looking for a creative Video Editor to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and creating high-quality video content for various platforms, including YouTube Shorts, social media, websites, presentations, and other digital channels.

This includes collaborating with the creative team to understand project requirements and translate concepts into compelling short-form visual stories and long-form content.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in managing raw video footage, ensuring proper file organization and backup.

Cutting and trimming footage segments to ensure smooth transitions, continuity, and seamless integration of audio, video, and graphics is also essential.

The selected candidate will have expertise in enhancing videos with special effects, animations, graphics, and other visual elements to engage viewers and convey the desired message.

Incorporating music, voiceovers, sound effects, and other audio elements to enhance the overall video production is key.

The role requires staying up-to-date with short-form video trends, including viral formats and platform-specific features like transitions and effects.

Optimizing videos for YouTube Shorts, ensuring compatibility with the platform's specific aspect ratios, durations, and audience preferences is crucial.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with the content team to ensure videos align with brand guidelines, tone, and messaging.

This position requires managing multiple video editing projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.

The selected candidate will stay current with the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends to improve video quality and production processes continuously.

Required Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills and creativity.
  • Experience in creating YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok videos is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and other video editing techniques.
  • Solid understanding of video editing techniques, principles of visual storytelling, and composition.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and execute creative briefs effectively.
  • Knowledge of video compression, codecs, and file formats for different platforms.
  • Time management skills to meet project deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of audio editing and mixing techniques is a plus.
