Senior Manufacturing Specialist

This role is focused on working with clients to understand their requirements and develop proposals that meet their needs.
The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, including knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and experience with design software such as Codeware Compress and AutoCAD.
They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Study RFQs and highlight any clarifications required from clients.
- Communicate with clients to ensure that bids are according to client requirements.
- Prepare layouts and cutting plans for projects.
- Develop cost estimates and technical proposals according to specifications in RFQs.
- Prepare project budgets based on approved proposals.
- Have a good understanding of contracts.
- Prepare presentations and reports.
The position offers a market competitive salary, provident fund, life/medical insurance, OPD allowance, EOBI and paid leaves. Food and travel allowance will be provided as per company policy.
Key qualifications include:
- Advanced knowledge of costing for static process equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, process skids and storage tanks.
- Knowledge of design codes ASME Sec VIII Div I & Div II, API 650, API 620, UL-58, UL-42, B16.5 & B31.3 etc.
- Understanding of OGRA, Explosives and NFPA rules for LPG and Fuels.
- Expert level knowledge of Excel, Power Point and other MS Office packages.
