The role of a Sales Executive involves driving sales growth and achieving targets within an assigned area. To ensure success, one must focus on enhancing market share by ensuring Secondary SKU volume achievement.
- Rationalize discounts in the market to achieve company net sales revenue. This can be done by using promotions intelligently and creating new outlets as per target and area potential.
- Ensure that all data in the sales information systems is accurate and conduct regular audits to maintain transparency.
- Analyze Sales Force Effectiveness Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and modify the area route or adjust frequencies to improve Green KPIs for Pre-sellers.
- Accomplish daily planned calls, spend ample time-in-market, and coach pre-sellers on the 10-step call process.
- Discuss execution scores by outlets with pre-sellers on a daily basis and highlight gaps to ensure In-Outlet Execution is carried out as per PicOS & RED criteria and all marketing initiatives in the area.
- Monitor and report competitor activity in the assigned area and suggest ways to counter them.
- Supervise the proper injection and optimal utilization of Company assets in the market, including coolers, glass, shell, signage, outlet activation material, etc.
- Manage In-outlet investments with an optimal mix of discounts, DME, assets, and activation.
- Monitor the efficiency of equipment, increase cooler throughput, and reduce non-productive coolers.
- Responsible for making attempts to recover the cooler as per company procedure in case of missing or disputed coolers.
