Education Specialist

We are seeking a professional to guide students in selecting and applying to international educational programs.

  1. Counsel students on suitable educational opportunities, taking into account their country, course, university, and program preferences.
  2. Advise students on the application process, visa procedures, accommodation arrangements, and prepare them for studying abroad.
  3. Evaluate and ensure that admission, visa, accommodation, and travel arrangements meet deadlines.
  4. Provide accurate information about study abroad programs, courses, colleges, and universities in the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia.
  5. Answer all queries from parents and students promptly, including assistance with admission forms and other related concerns.
  6. Share detailed information about courses for studying abroad, covering Diplomas, Bachelor's, and Master's programs across various fields.
  7. Ensure positive interactions with parents and students to foster a positive reputation and increase referrals.
  8. Maintain strong communication with candidates through official channels such as email, phone, and messaging platforms.
  9. Stay updated on various study abroad programs offered by colleges and universities to effectively assist students.
  10. Guide students through every step from registration to flying abroad, including counseling, application, admission, meeting conditions, fee payments, visa applications, and pre-departure briefings.
  11. Maintain a proper database of counseled students and applications sent abroad.
  12. Evaluate client/student details to determine suitability for courses and universities, providing relevant guidance.
  13. Support activities promoting represented universities.
  14. Assess students' interests in studying abroad to motivate and encourage them to enroll in courses.
  15. Submit daily reports on new candidates registered through various channels like cold-calling, email, or walk-ins.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Graduated from any academic discipline, capable of guiding students in their specific fields.
  • Experience in the education industry.
  • Knowledgeable of multiple counseling approaches.
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms.
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a counselor with youth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Empathy and sensitivity to others' needs.
