Job Title: Assistant Manager Legal

Job Description:

  • To provide interpretation services to the Department Head in relation to legal matters for HO & Regional Offices.
  • Keep management abreast of all new laws and regulations having implications to the company.
  • Coordinate with departments and external legal counsels for smooth handling of legal matters in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Provide assistance to branches/offices.
  • Keep liaison and follow-up with Lawyers.
  • Monitor court proceedings.
  • Prepare a database of cases being forwarded for legal action.
  • Review each case for completeness and ensure evidence collected is prosecutable.
  • Develop SOPs for cases with unique issues.
  • Assist in handling corporate legal matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide support to the Department Head in relation to legal matters.
  • Keep management informed of all new laws and regulations affecting the company.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other software applications.
