About this Role:

We seek a diligent and dependable Logistics Operations Specialist to join our International Logistics team. This evening-shift position is crucial for ensuring smooth customs clearance, accurate shipment tracking, and efficient transportation coordination of international shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update shipment trackers for ongoing shipments.
  • Ensure prompt receipt of purchase orders and delivery addresses from sales teams for DAP deliveries.
  • Distribute shipping and customs clearance documents to designated clearing agents.
  • Actively coordinate with clearing agents and customs authorities to facilitate timely clearance.
  • Retrieve and confirm the Last Free Date (LFD) from carriers to avoid demurrage charges.
  • Organize and schedule transportation aligned with delivery commitments and customer requirements.
  • Oversee container pickups and manage the return of empty containers within LFD limits.
  • Ensure effective, ongoing communication with stakeholders including sales, vendors, and clearing agents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in international logistics, customs clearance, or freight coordination
  • Strong understanding of import and export operations
  • In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures and customs clearance processes
  • Proven ability to coordinate transportation and track international shipments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management
  • Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, and ownership mindset in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using shipment tracking tools and relevant logistics systems
