Logistics Operations Professional

This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills to oversee international logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in customs clearance, freight coordination, and transportation management.

  • Maintain accurate shipment tracking records for all international shipments.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams and external vendors to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with import/export regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and update shipment trackers for current and upcoming shipments.
  2. Ensure the prompt receipt of purchase orders and delivery addresses from the sales team for DAP deliveries.
  3. Distribute shipping and customs clearance documents to designated clearing agents.
  4. Coordinate with clearing agents and customs authorities to facilitate timely clearance.
  5. Retrieve and confirm the Last Free Date (LFD) from carriers to avoid demurrage charges.
  6. Organize and schedule transportation aligned with delivery commitments and customer requirements.
  7. Oversee container pickups and manage the return of empty containers within LFD limits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in international logistics, customs clearance, or freight coordination.
  • Strong understanding of import and export operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures and customs clearance processes.
  • Proven ability to coordinate transportation and track international shipments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
