Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in operating CNC milling equipment. This role involves daily checks on machines and equipment, ensuring they meet 5S standards.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying deviations from work instructions and reporting them to the supervisor immediately.
  • They will also monitor machine performance, fix issues or malfunctions, and check output for any problems.
  • A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate records of machine information, defective units, and final products.
Key Responsibilities
  • Daily pre-production checks on machines and equipment.
  • Ensuring adherence to 5S standards.
  • Identifying and reporting deviations from work instructions.
  • Monitoring and controlling machine performance.
  • Fault-finding and repair of machines.
  • Quality control of output.
  • Maintenance of accurate records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or ITI with 3 years of experience; prior experience as a machine operator.
  • Strong ability to use measurement tools.
  • Good understanding of production procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations.
  • Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and handbooks.
  • Good physical stamina and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team.
