Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting commercial decision-making processes by providing in-depth strategic analysis, business insights, and recommendations. Key responsibilities include operational ownership, data interpretation, process monitoring, market research, stakeholder collaboration, Excel expertise, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.

  • Operational Ownership: Take ownership of operational activities linked with dubizzle, including utilization, product changes, communication with clients, management, and other related tasks.
  • Data Interpretation: Translate complex data sets into clear, concise reports and presentations to aid decision-making.
  • Process Monitoring: Analyze and monitor processes to provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
  • Market & Competitor Research: Conduct research on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance teams to provide analytical support and ensure commercial strategies are data-driven.
  • Excel Expertise: Create, manage, and optimize complex Excel models, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization techniques.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain regular financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance against targets.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects to inform key business decisions in the GCC region.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (advanced knowledge including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros, and data visualization).
    • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Business Acumen:
    • Strong understanding of business and financial principles, including profitability, pricing, and margin analysis.
    • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights with a clear understanding of business impact.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
