HR Officer Position

We seek an experienced professional to fill the role of HR Officer. This position requires a highly skilled individual with a passion for Human Resources who can develop and implement effective policies and procedures.

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems by analyzing organizational needs, identifying solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance on company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment processes by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, managing the hiring process, and conducting interviews.
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans for new employees, including training programs, performance evaluations, and regular feedback.
  • Develop and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and productivity.
  • Assist in performance management processes, ensuring employee growth and success through coaching, mentoring, and discipline.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues in a fair and transparent manner, upholding organizational values and policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records according to policy and legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
Job Specification

To be successful as an HR Officer, you must have:

  • Proven experience as an HR officer or administrator with a strong understanding of HR functions.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and disciplinary procedures is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office with knowledge of HRMS being a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude are critical for making informed decisions.
  • Strong ethics and reliability are essential for building trust with colleagues and management.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field with further training being a plus.
  • HR Credentials such as PHR from the HR Certification Institute are highly desirable.
