Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Key responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, tracking rule changes, and interpreting regulations to provide accurate information to the product development team.

This position works closely with product development teams to make informed decisions under a regulated framework.

The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of all regulatory requirements and the approval/compliance process.

  • Maintain precise documentation and interpretation of regulatory law.
  • Provide accurate information to the Product Development team.
  • Document all regulatory-related documents.
  • Conduct research and analysis of regulatory laws & rules.
  • Keep the Business Intelligence document updated with all applicable rule changes.
  • Work with regulators at state, county, department, and national levels to develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regulatory research on new business opportunities.
  • Assist and support renewals and reporting teams with required information for course approvals, renewals, compliance reporting, and mandatory content updates.
  • Ensure instructors keep their certifications/credentials updated as required by state regulators.
  • Coordinate email communications with internal and external customers regarding queries.
  • Establish good relationships with regulators via email and phone.
  • Review all courses and associated paperwork released from production to ensure they meet regulatory requirements before submission for review and approval.
