Trade Operations Specialist

We seek a meticulous and experienced Trade Operations Specialist to provide critical post-trade operational support to clients.

About the Role

This role is essential in ensuring trade and portfolio data accuracy through daily reconciliation and exception management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily trade reconciliations between internal systems and client Portfolio Management Systems (PMS).
  • Analyze and validate daily profit and loss reports, identifying misbookings or anomalies.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks by adjusting PMS bookings.
  • Collaborate with trading desks to manage post-trade workflows, ensuring timely and accurate portfolio updates.
  • Proactively identify process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency in reconciliation and reporting.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in Middle Office, Trade Support, or Product Control roles at a financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, reconciliation processes, and portfolio management systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communicator with ability to work independently and liaise confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certifications like CFA (any level) or ACCA are a strong plus.
