Procurement Team Lead

As a seasoned professional in procurement, you will lead the team to ensure smooth operations and maximize benefits for the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining the Procurement System in line with company needs.
  • Liaising with the Head Supply Chain to update Vendor Selection Criteria.
  • Monitoring Purchase Orders, assigning tasks, calculating lead times, and adhering to the procurement cycle.
  • Checking inventory levels, planning imports, and searching for suitable vendors.

The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, technical knowledge of procurement processes, and excellent interpersonal skills. They must also demonstrate accountability, make informed decisions, and solve problems efficiently.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain is required.
  • Relevant industry experience is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills of procurement processes are necessary.
  • Negotiation, interpersonal, and people skills are crucial.
  • Accountability, analytical skills, and sound judgment are vital.

Other Responsibilities

In addition to the key responsibilities and requirements, the Team Lead Procurement will conduct quarterly meetings to set, review, and revise performance standards and Key Result Areas (KRAs) of direct reportees.

They will also conduct technical selection interviews for staff needed to be hired in their department.

The role involves reviewing shipping documents and other certificates, ensuring all import documentation is properly maintained.
