Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer with extensive experience in Ruby on Rails to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring they meet the required performance, security, and responsiveness standards.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, resulting in seamless user experiences.
  • Participate actively in planning, development, and deployment of new features and enhancements, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing applications, ensuring they remain stable and perform optimally.
  • Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness, meeting the highest industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails in a production environment, with a strong understanding of its architecture and best practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Angular or ReactJS, allowing for seamless integration with frontend technologies.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs, enabling effective collaboration with frontend developers.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems, ensuring efficient code management and collaboration.
  • Understanding of database management using MySQL or similar relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Awareness of unit testing and debugging tools, allowing for thorough code quality assurance.
