Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to manage our computer networks and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and configuring networks, systems, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure computer networks, systems, and applications according to company standards
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary maintenance
  • Ensure the security of our systems by implementing firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures
  • Create user accounts, manage permissions, and provide technical support to users
  • Develop and maintain network documentation and inventory records
  • Conduct regular backups of data to ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to identify areas for improvement in network infrastructure
  • Stay updated on new technologies in the field of networking and systems administration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), hardware (routers, switches), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies (VMware)
  • Experience with network security tools such as firewalls and antivirus software
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
