Technical Specialist - IT System Administrator

The role of a technical specialist in information technology operations involves managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure and systems to ensure smooth operations and efficient delivery of IT services.

This includes monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures to prevent data breaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical assistance and troubleshooting to resolve complex IT system issues and ensure smooth functioning.
  • Monitoring network performance, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing security measures to maintain data integrity.
  • Troubleshooting issues and providing first and second-level support to resolve problems efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in complex technical environments and experience with knowledge and skills on the following:

  • Exchange Online, Mail clients (Outlook, Outlook for Mac, Lotus Notes, IMAP, POP3, Mobile Devices).
  • PowerShell scripting.
  • Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Client, Server).
  • Windows configuration and automation.
  • Networking concepts, TCP/IP (DHCP, DNS, Routing).
  • Active directory and group policy management.
  • Virtualization using VMware and Microsoft Azure Platform.
  • Windows Server security and configuration management.
  • Incident, problem and change management.
  • Disaster recovery implementation and testing.
  • Management of MDM solution (VMware WorkspaceOne).
  • Troubleshooting, system backups and archiving.
  • System implementation support.
  • Due diligence when assessing operational risks and proposing technical solutions.
  • Developing, defining and maintaining technical administrative processes that support existing and new application services and capabilities.
