Job Title: Fundraising Specialist

This is a percentage-based position, where the Fundraising Specialist will earn a commission based on a percentage of the total funds raised.

About the Role

The Fundraising Specialist will be responsible for identifying and securing sponsors for lacrosse events, training programs, and international competitions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills to cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners, philanthropic organizations, and individual donors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sponsorship Acquisition: Identify potential sponsors and develop persuasive sponsorship proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of supporting lacrosse in Pakistan.
  • Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. Utilize innovative approaches to maximize fundraising potential.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of supporting lacrosse in Pakistan. Tailor proposals to suit the interests of potential sponsors.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with event organizers and other stakeholders to ensure that sponsor needs and expectations are met during lacrosse events. Facilitate sponsor branding and promotional activities during events.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on fundraising activities, sponsorship agreements, and financial targets. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress and challenges.
  • Network Building: Establish and grow a network of potential sponsors, partners, and donors within Pakistan and internationally. Leverage personal and professional networks to identify new fundraising opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, or sales, preferably within the sports industry or non-profit sector.
  • Strong network of contacts within the corporate sector, philanthropic organizations, or relevant industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create persuasive proposals and presentations.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets.
  • Familiarity with lacrosse or a strong interest in sports is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is a plus.
