Identity and Access Management Engineer

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise identity and access management (IAM) services. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of applications, driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop secure IAM systems, addressing unique challenges posed by remote work arrangements. With a focus on reducing friction and enhancing security, you will employ modern practices to stay ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain world-class IAM infrastructure aligned with business objectives.
  • Implement, maintain, and modernize IAM systems to ensure adoption, security, and compliance.
  • Address business and user experience challenges through technology solutions.
  • Drive IAM architecture and strategic decisions as the company grows.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members to foster growth.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of authentication protocols (e.g., SSO, OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise IAM systems.
  • Proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for automation and reducing toil.
  • Experience with IAM vendor products (Okta, SailPoint) and compliance standards (SOx, GDPR).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud IAM systems (AWS Directory, etc.).
  • Ability to shape IAM vision and roadmap.
  • Skills to design secure, seamless access systems for internal users.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (Python, Git, CI/CD).
  • Experience managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.
  • Experience in hyper-growth e-commerce environments.
