Gas Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a critical role within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical, chemical, mechatronics, petroleum, or electronics engineering and at least two years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Verify invoices for gas purchases received from exploration and production companies according to the terms of the gas supply purchase agreement.
  2. Check and verify the specifications of natural gas quality to identify any deviations from agreed-upon standards during the billing period.
  3. Evaluate and manage off-spec gas as required by the gas supply purchase agreement in gas purchase invoices.
  4. Coordinate with exploration and production companies to resolve issues related to invoices.
  5. Ensure accurate allocation of gas volumes and energy based on the gas allocation mechanism outlined in the executed gas supply purchase agreement.
  6. Maintain accurate records of invoices for easy access to data.
  7. Support internal and external auditors by providing information regarding measurement-transmission functions and invoice verification.
  8. Maintain close communication with exploration and production companies, transmission departments, and finance departments regarding all aspects of gas purchase invoices verification and processing.
  9. Participate actively in discussions about gas allocation mechanisms and provide valuable insights.
  10. Efficiently process invoices verification without delay.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least two years of post-qualification experience in oil and gas/public sector.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
