Gas Measurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Gas Measurement Engineer to spearhead initiatives for the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas measurement equipment at our Industrial Gas meter stations and Town Border Stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure precision and accuracy in gas management processes, guaranteeing the reliability of our operations.
  • Lead teams and implement proactive planning and scheduling procedures to optimize workforce efficiency and meet predetermined timelines.
  • Oversee and supervise gas volume sales to bulk customers, ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Supervise the installation, functionality, and upkeep of Gas Turbine meters at Customer Meter Stations.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal spare parts availability to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Perform technical evaluations of Gas Turbine Meters, including drafting technical specifications and inspecting received equipment and spares.
  • Generate malfunctioning advisories and ensure timely input into the system.
  • Develop, implement, and supervise Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility, driving team success through comprehensive planning.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Sub-Metering Systems, Town Border Stations, Distribution Management Systems, and other pertinent systems, along with expertise in Gas Transmission and Distribution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Telecommunications, or Mechatronics) with additional Master's degree as an added advantage.
  • Minimum 04 years of post-qualification experience in Maintenance of Gas Meters and Equipment used in Oil and Gas sector.
