Job Title: HR Officer

  • A highly motivated and detail-oriented HR professional is sought to join our team.
Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and managing day-to-day human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll preparation, attendance management, office administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Human Resources:
  • Assist in recruitment processes (posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews).
  • Maintain accurate records of employee data, both physical and digital.
  • Monitor attendance, leaves, and timekeeping systems to ensure optimal workforce utilization.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to guarantee a seamless transition for new employees.
  • Provide relevant data for payroll preparation, including absences, leaves, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal HR policies to mitigate risks and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Support performance appraisal and employee evaluation processes to foster growth and development.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions professionally, maintaining confidentiality when necessary.
  • Administration:
  • Oversee general office operations, including cleanliness, office supplies, and facility maintenance to create a productive workspace.
  • Manage office equipment and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure the best deals and services.
  • Maintain updated documentation, such as licenses, insurance, and legal paperwork, to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate company events, meetings, and training sessions to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently, ensuring prompt responses to queries and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience in HR and administrative roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices to drive informed decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to optimize productivity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Integrity, discretion, and professionalism to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with care.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or attendance management software to leverage technology and streamline processes.
