Dynamics 365 Commerce Expert

About the Role:

As a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Developer, you will collaborate with clients and technical teams to implement large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce projects. You should possess excellent client-facing skills, be team-oriented, and have strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, configure, and implement D365 Commerce solutions for clients, ensuring seamless business processes integration.
  • Develop solutions based on your knowledge of business processes and D365 Commerce, meeting client expectations and requirements.
  • Create comprehensive business process walkthroughs, functional requirements, and design documents to ensure project success.
  • Serve as the primary interface between clients and development & quality engineering teams, providing clarifications and addressing concerns.
  • Perform thorough user acceptance testing of system functionalities and business processes to guarantee client satisfaction.
  • Participate in setting up and executing project workflows, prioritizing tasks and managing timelines effectively.
  • Manage client relationships as a key responsibility, fostering trust and open communication.
  • Develop and plan project plans, taking into account client needs and industry standards.
  • Contribute proactively to team discussions, sharing expertise and best practices with strong communication skills.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 / Dynamics AX, specifically in Retail modules, with at least 3 years in Dynamics 365 Commerce.
  • Experience in at least two full lifecycle implementations of D365 Commerce / AX 2012 Retail.
  • Hands-on experience in Retail/Commerce and e-Commerce industries, understanding ERP value flows and complexities.
  • Strong client interaction skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage requirements, scope, and risks effectively, ensuring project success.
  • Experience with rollouts, deployments, upgrades, store setups, and migrations, including code/fix deployment to MPOS and CPOS.
  • Good understanding of Finance & SCM domains and retail industry nuances.
  • Ability to create test artifacts for module testing, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience in user onboarding, post-onboarding support, and working with global teams.
Bonus Points:

If you have experience with Azure and ERP/business system integrations, Project Management principles, or basic SQL query writing skills, it's a plus
