Job Description

A process engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing efficiency and quality.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to optimize production costs, scrap, and setup times.
  • Develop initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and throughput.
  • Analyze and resolve process issues related to equipment and product performance.
  • Support safety programs and daily requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams on new product communications.
  • Lead cost-out initiatives to lower costs while maintaining quality and improving margins.
  • Evaluate processes and develop operating parameters.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and drive facility-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct experiments to increase line speeds and decrease changeover times.
  • Lead production teams to achieve goals in safety, service, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with technical and support teams to resolve problems and develop improved manufacturing processes using lean sigma tools.
