About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced software development lead to join our team and lead the development of server applications across various software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing server applications using NodeJS and frameworks like ExpressJS and NestJS.
  • Mentoring team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Analyzing business requirements and estimating assigned tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Writing code and unit tests to ensure high-quality and bug-free applications.
  • Collaborating with other team members to optimize code for security and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of related industry experience with strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript technologies, including NodeJS and frameworks like ExpressJS and NestJS.
  • Experience in backend development and Restful APIs, as well as knowledge of accessibility standards and security compliance.
  • Familiarity with relational and schemaless databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Database schema design experience and ability to write unit tests with at least 90% coverage.
  • Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong presentation skills and flexible personality.
