Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical works. The ideal candidate will have expertise in erection, alignment, and installation of rotary and stationary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise execution of mechanical works including conveyors, silos, piping, structures, and equipment installation.
  • Conduct inspections and testing to verify system quality, performance, and readiness for commissioning.
  • Perform functional testing and calibration of equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, and conveyors.
  • Review QA/QC documentation and ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
  • Enforce HSE protocols during mechanical activities including hot work, rigging, confined space, and lifting.
  • Maintain site records, inspection/test reports, and daily/weekly progress updates.
  • Coordinate availability and use of materials, tools, and equipment with procurement and stores.
  • Collaborate with civil, electrical, HSE, and operations teams to resolve site challenges.
  • Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Act as first responder for breakdowns, ensuring immediate troubleshooting and repair.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of bulk material handling systems including conveyors, silos, and piping networks.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings, QA/QC documents, and equipment manuals.
  • Familiar with international mechanical standards such as ASME, ASTM, and API.
  • Hands-on experience in HSE compliance for high-risk mechanical works.
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and contractor supervision skills.
