Job Title: Healthcare Finance Manager

The role of a Healthcare Finance Manager is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative office. This position requires an individual with a solid understanding of financial analysis, evaluation, and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The preparation and submission of billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient medical information.
  • Preparation of bills and invoices for medical procedures and services.
  • Collection and review of referrals and pre-authorizations.
  • Monitoring and recording of late payments.
  • Follow-up on missed payments and resolution of financial discrepancies.
  • Examination of patient bills for accuracy and request for missing information.
  • Investigation and appeal of denied claims.
  • Maintenance of billing software by updating rate changes, cash spreadsheets, and current collection reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration, accounting, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical biller.
  • Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
