Truck Dispatcher Job Description

Shah Tradex Inc. is seeking an experienced Night Truck Dispatcher to deliver reliable trucking and railroad services with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate dispatch operations for a fleet of trucks during night shifts, ensuring timely deliveries and optimizing fleet performance.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to resolve issues, maintaining accurate records of shipments and managing logistics software.
  • Prepare reports on delivery status and assist in managing compliance with regulations, utilizing strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in truck dispatching or transportation logistics, with knowledge of DOT regulations and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in dispatch software and Microsoft Office, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
