Job Title: Senior Design Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced design professional to lead the planning, designing, and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across projects.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in MEP load calculations, BOQ preparation, equipment selection, and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with local codes and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and coordination of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems across projects.
  • Perform load calculations and equipment selection to ensure system efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure all design deliverables comply with local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical design issues during project development or execution.
  • Prepare comprehensive MEP BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and align them with procurement and budgeting teams.
  • Create and maintain detailed drawings, SLDs, specifications, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at least.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in MEP industry.
  • Strong command over MEP design principles, AutoCAD, and related design tools.
  • Working knowledge of local compliance codes and construction standards.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, construction, and QA/QC.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
