Expert in Agricultural Commercialization

The role of the Expert in Agricultural Commercialization is to spearhead cluster development initiatives that foster connections between contract farming and farmer-owned businesses, agribusiness input suppliers, rural service providers, and agriculture processing companies.

To achieve this goal, the expert will propose innovative mechanisms to enhance market linkages, encompassing connections with input suppliers, intermediaries, and end markets. Additionally, the expert will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant international conventions and adherence to best practices on market access, trade, standards, biosafety, and the environment.

Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as agriculture or related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing projects focused on expanding markets and trade.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team of experts.
