Senior Financial Administrator

A seasoned financial professional is sought to spearhead the management of accounting staff, ensuring seamless execution of financial reporting, billing, and budget preparation.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Establish comprehensive internal controls for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
  • Lead a team of accounting professionals responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
  • Deliver high-quality monthly financial reports and financial forecasts that inform strategic business decisions.
  • Oversee the production of periodic financial reports, guaranteeing compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, collaborating with external auditors, and providing necessary information for the annual external audit.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
  • Guarantee compliance with federal and provincial government requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with expertise/skills in asset management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial management.
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CA certification.
  • Degree in Finance or a related field.
